About the scholarship
A Prize to recognise and reward the student who achieved the highest grade in BIOSCI 220. This Prize was established in 1976 from a fund raised by staff and students of the Departments of Botany and Zoology and by colleagues and friends, to commemorate the late R M Cassie, Professor of Biometry, who died suddenly in December 1974. The main purpose of the Prize is to reward and recognise excellence in the application of statistical analysis to biological data.
