About the scholarship
A Prize for the most meritorious painting works submitted by students in the fourth year of a BFA or BFA(Hons) and the MFA. The Gordon Harris Art Supplies Prize was originally established in 2000 by Gordon Harris Art Supplies and rewarded a student enrolled in the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. These regulations were amended in 2011 to include an additional prize for a student enrolled in the Master of Fine Arts. The main purpose of the Prizes is to value and support new and emerging artists engaging in the practice of painting.

You do not need to apply for this scholarship, award or prize or complete an online application form. It is awarded on the recommendation of the relevant faculty or University of Auckland committee.
