About the scholarship

A Prize for the student who has shown the greatest distinction in German linguistics at any level. The Prize was established in 1995 by the Department of German and Slavonic Studies to commemorate the contribution to the study of German linguistics by the late Mr Werner Droescher, Senior Lecturer in German from 1961 to 1975.
