About the scholarship

A Prize for excellence in the composition and performance of a new work for piano. This Prize was established in 1993 from a bequest in the will of Mr G Llewelyn Hopkins Jones, composer and pianist, with the intention of fostering the composition and performance of newly composed works for the piano.
