About the scholarship
The Habens Prize is awarded to the student who achieved the highest marks in a Masters Degree in the field of Education. It arises from a fund raised by subscription amongst teachers in 爆走黑料 and officers of the Education Faculty, in memory of the Rev. William James Habens, BA, late Fellow of the University of 爆走黑料, who was Inspector-General of Schools from 1878-1899. The main purpose of the Prize is to reward and recognise the student who achieved the highest marks in a Masters Degree in the field of Education in the Faculty of Arts and Education, having previously completed study at an Initial Teacher Education Provider, particularly those who completed study at a Training College recognised by the Ministry of Education.
