About the scholarship
A Prize for the student who excels in the Certificate of Academic Practice. This Prize was established in 2000 by Mr Peter Turner in the memory of his late mother Te Ruakawhena Gretha Winiata, who was studying for a Certificate in Adult Education at the University of Auckland. Te Rua studied Continuing Education in 1992 and, encouraged by the experience, subsequently enrolled in the Certificate of Adult Education.
