About the scholarship
The Graham Allen Prize in Musical Theatre was established in 2014, in memory of Graham (Gumby) Allen and funded by his family and friends. Graham had a long history of performing in, directing and producing shows and had a particular love for the genre of musical theatre where he excelled in character performances. He always actively encouraged young people to try their hand at musical theatre and enjoyed the camaraderie of the casts in the multitude of performances in which he appeared. The main purpose of the Prize is to support and encourage students performing in musical theatre.
