About the scholarship

A Medal for the final year students in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences who have made an outstanding contribution to the academic development of the faculty. The Dean's Medal was first established by the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences to be awarded to final year students in the medical programme (MBChB) and has been awarded for over 20 years. With the growth of the faculty, additional awards were established in 2015 and 2023 to recognise the contribution of students from other undergraduate programmes. The main purpose of the award is to recognise the outstanding contribution of students to the academic development of the faculty whilst undertaking their undergraduate studies.
