About the scholarship
First established in 2002, this scholarship supports the studies of students with links to Taranaki and/or research relating to Taranaki's natural history. The ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ are usually to support studies of students who are studying full-time at post graduate level; i.e. pursuing their PhD, Masters or honours level studies and have attend secondary school in Taranaki, or who have family residing in Taranaki or other connections to the region. The ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ are to be awarded to advance the study of the natural environment, archaeology and social history of the Taranaki region; e.g. biological sciences, earth sciences, archaeology or anthropology.
