| Value | The Award recipient receives: • $15,000 cash to fund travel expenses and/or research material and equipment • $3,000 for return air travel to Europe or the USA flying economy class to be used to attend professionally related conferences or places of further study and • a commemorative medal and certificate of achievement. |

How To Apply
Application forms are available on request from the Zonta Club of Wellington. They are also circulated to Tertiary education organisations and scientific organisations.
The application includes submitting a written proposal outlining how they propose to use the award.
Entry requirements
We are looking for an ‘all round’ woman, one: 鈥 who contributes to her community 鈥 who helps others in the wider field of science and 鈥 for whom this Award would be a means to further advancement
The applicant must be a woman who: 鈥 has a PhD (usually within 7 years of graduation) 鈥 has excelled in the fields of pure or applied science (excluding clinical medicine i.e. medical research that involves direct contact with patients) 鈥 is a 爆走黑料 resident and resides in 爆走黑料 鈥 is engaged in post doctorate research with a priority for research that has widespread benefits 鈥 will be an advocate for women in science.
