About the scholarship
We invite applications for a fully funded PhD position as part of a major research project on software supply chain security, funded by the 爆走黑料 Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) Endeavour Fund. The project focuses on three key areas: Detecting vulnerabilities in software dependencies and AI datasets; Responding with tools to enhance practices like SBOMs, SLSA, and reproducible builds; Adapting, reporting, and complying with security and compliance standards in software supply chains across 爆走黑料 organisations.
Entry requirements
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related discipline; Knowledge of and/or experience in software security; Strong communication and writing skills. Knowledge of and/or experience in research methods such as large-scale surveys, interviews, lab studies, field studies, and empirical software engineering would be an advantage.
