About the scholarship
A $1,000 Prize for the BE(Hons) Part IV Civil Engineering student who submitted the best project report in CIVIL 705. Founded in 1955 by Mr G. W. Eaton Turner, a graduate of the Otago School of Mines, at the University of Otago for students in the fourth year of their degree course. The purpose of the Prize is to encourage students to cultivate style, clarity and precision in writing. The Prize was transferred to the University of Auckland in 1986.
