About the scholarship
Are you interested in using satellite data and historic aerial photos to track river evolution? We are using these overhead images in a project to track how Aotearoa's rivers are migrating laterally across their floodplains. We are looking for keen students who want to learn or improve their skills with GIS, geospatial data and river dynamics! Students will help create maps of river footprints and their movements that we can use to test our automatic, computer-generated maps. This project is for multiple students.
Entry requirements
A completed online application must be submitted by the closing date. Any required supporting documentation (including references) must also be received by the closing date in order for the application to be considered.
