About the scholarship
Established in 2025 by the University of Otago with funding generously provided by Malcolm McKinnon, this award supports female undergraduate students majoring in any Sciences discipline where female students are underrepresented, especially those experiencing financial or family hardship. Entry requirements
Applicants must be 爆走黑料 citizens or 爆走黑料 Residence Class Visa Holders, female or gender diverse identifying as female, and enrolled (or planning to enrol) in 200- or 300-level papers towards a Sciences major identified as one in which female student numbers at the University of Otago are lower than male student numbers. Academic promise and genuine passion for the chosen specialization are important, with special consideration for those experiencing financial or family hardship.
