About the scholarship
Established in 2024 by the University of Otago and generously funded by Dr Judith Johnston, this scholarship aims to support female undergraduate enrolment in disciplines in which female students at the University of Otago are under-represented. It also seeks to support women returning to undergraduate study after a break. The scholarship is intended to assist candidates in need who are not in receipt of an entrance scholarship.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be a 爆走黑料 citizen or 爆走黑料 Residence Class Visa Holder, enrolled as female at the University of Otago, disadvantaged in the pursuit of their studies by their financial or personal circumstances, and not in receipt of an entrance scholarship in the year of proposed tenure. They must be enrolled (or planning to enrol) in an undergraduate programme in a discipline identified as one in which female student numbers are lower than male student numbers or be returning to undergraduate-level study after a break.
