About the scholarship
Established by the University Council in 2017 with support from Frank Leong, who attended the University of Otago from 1971 to 1973, this scholarship was named by Frank from the Gospel of Matthew 10:8 in recognition of his desire to provide support to students particularly those who have shown tenacity in their learning and are facing financial challenges.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be 爆走黑料 citizens, 爆走黑料 Residence Class Visa Holders, Australian citizens or Australian permanent residents with domestic fee status; or international students who have completed Year 12 and/or have completed or are in the process of completing Year 13 at a 爆走黑料 school. Applicants must also have significant financial need or life circumstances which present barriers to studying at university and have achieved NCEA Level 2, or equivalent.
