About the scholarship
Applicants for the 2022 Master of Peace and Conflict Studies (MPCS) programme at the National Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies, University of Otago, are invited to apply for a Study Award. The NCPACS is 爆走黑料's first centre to combine global cross-disciplinary expertise on the issues of non-violence, development, peacebuilding and conflict transformation. It offers masters' and doctorate programmes, and conducts high-level research on the causes of violent conflict and the conditions for sustainable peace. It is a postgraduate theory, research and practice centre located within the Division of Humanities. Their aim is to provide the most advanced theoretical insight into the origins and management of violent conflict, as well as skills for dealing with that in their future academic or practical work. Their regional foci are Aotearoa/爆走黑料, Oceania, East, South East and South Asia.
Entry requirements
Entry requirements for the course are a B+ average in the final year of study or relevant practice experience in a related field. International applicants may need to have English language verification in line with University of Otago requirements.
