About the scholarship
To honour the extraordinary life and legacy of the late Professor Douglas Paton, who is an internationally respected scholar in disaster risk reduction (DRR), his family, colleagues, and friends have established the Professor Douglas Paton Legacy Fund. This fund supports the next generation of DRR researchers and practitioners through three annual awards.
