About the scholarship
This Prize was established in 2023, to celebrate the work of Associate Professor Rae de Lisle, MNZM, PhD, who taught at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland for over 25 years. The Prize was subscribed to by staff, students and members of the general public, and was launched with a celebratory concert on 30 April 2023. The main purpose of the Prize is to reward and recognise excellence in the study of piano at undergraduate level in the School of Music at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland.
