About the scholarship

Whakaeke means to enable arrival, as we hope to support more M膩ori students through their law studies and achieve their goals. The main purpose of the Award is to encourage greater diversity in the law profession by providing financial assistance and pastoral support to M膩ori law students who are the first member of their wh膩nau tonu (immediate family) to enrol in an LLB and/or the first in their wh膩nau tonu attend university.
