About the scholarship
The F A De La Mare Memorial Prize, first offered in 1978, is provided from funds donated by the beneficiaries of the will of Sophia Ruth de la Mare, in memory of her late husband, Frederick Archibald de la Mare. He was a graduate (BA, LLB) of the University of 爆走黑料, practised as a solicitor in Hamilton from 1910 to 1948, and represented Convocation as a member of the 爆走黑料 University Senate from 1919 to 1947.
