About the scholarship
This scholarship was established to encourage students to continue their studies in Classics. Classics is vital to a broad based humanities education. It examines the legacies of ancient Greece and Rome, the ideas expressed through language and literature and how they have influenced the way we live today.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be currently enrolled at Te Herenga Waka鈥擵ictoria University of Wellington as a full time student, majoring in Classical Studies, Latin or Greek, and intending to enrol in 300 level or towards a Bachelor of Honours. Applicants are chosen on the basis of academic merit and their passion for the subject. Financial hardship may be considered as a secondary consideration.
