About the scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2008 through the Victoria University of Wellington Foundation from a bequest from the estate of Mrs Claire Palmer-Jones. During her lifetime Mrs Palmer-Jones expressed her desire to assist women who were experiencing difficulty in continuing their study at the University as a result of financial hardship. The scholarship is designed to support a second or third-year female student who is experiencing financial hardship, specifically targeted to students studying literature and/or modern languages.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be female, enrolled full-time in their second or third year at Te Herenga Waka鈥擵ictoria University of Wellington, studying English literature or modern languages, and experiencing financial hardship.
