About the scholarship
The Scholarship was established to commemorate the 40th anniversary of M膩ori Studies at Te Herenga Waka-Victoria University of Wellington. It acknowledges Te Kawa M膩ui's continued commitment to providing opportunities for M膩ori students to learn about M膩ori culture and society, explore M膩ori customs, history and traditions and practice how to participate in the M膩ori world. The Scholarship is for M膩ori students who successfully complete the Tohu M膩oritanga/Diploma of M膩oritanga qualification and are returning to move into undergraduate study at Te Herenga Waka-Victoria University of Wellington. This Scholarship is sponsored by the Office of Deputy Vice-Chancellor (M膩ori).
Entry requirements
Applicants must be of M膩ori descent, have completed the Tohu M膩oritanga programme post 2022, and have applied for an undergraduate degree programme at the University.
