About the scholarship
The Dan F Jones Scholarship in Science was established through the Victoria University of Wellington Foundation in 1998 by a bequest from Dan Fletcher Jones, who retained an active and enquiring interest in science and mathematics. This scholarship provides financial support for students facing financial hardship while pursuing an Honours degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Biology, or Earth Sciences at Te Herenga Waka鈥擵ictoria University of Wellington.
