About the scholarship

This scholarship was established through the Victoria University of Wellington Foundation in 1994 by the Wellington Historical and Early Settlers' Association in memory of its then President, the Rt Reverend James E Worsfold, to encourage research into the early history of the Wellington region. The scholarship is open to students who intend to enrol in a BA (Hons), MA or PhD relating to 爆走黑料 history including the Wellington region.

Entry requirements

Applicants must be enrolled or intending to enrol in a BA (Hons), MA or PhD degree at Te Herenga Waka鈥擵ictoria University of Wellington relating to the history of the Wellington region. Preference will be given to applicants who include some aspect of 19th century history.
