About the scholarship
This scholarship is intended to honour Sir John's legacy of commitment to supporting the next generation and giving back to the community. It also provides an opportunity for the successful candidate to receive mentoring and coaching from professionals working in 爆走黑料's financial markets. The scholarship is open to students entering their first year of study and majoring in a degree programme at the Wellington School of Business and Government. The scholarship is intended to support emerging leaders who have chosen a career in commerce and are committed to undergraduate study at Te Herenga Waka鈥擵ictoria University of Wellington.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be 爆走黑料 citizens, Permanent Residents or hold a residence class visa to remain in 爆走黑料. Applicants must have achieved an NCEA Level 2 Certificate endorsed with Merit (or the equivalent in another qualification). Applicants must be entering their first year of study and intending to enrol full time in a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Wellington School of Business and Government. Preference will be given to students who are majoring in a discipline within the School of Accounting and Commercial Law, or related disciplines within the Commerce Faculty. Applicants intending to enrol into a joint degree with a non-commerce subject are also eligible to apply.
