About the scholarship
The Toioho Ki Apiti Undergraduate Scholarship is for students enrolled in the Bachelor of M膩ori Visual Arts. This program focuses on the visual expressions of mana whakapapa, mana tiriti, mana whenua, and mana tangata, introducing students to various forms of art including sculpture, installation, painting, digital media, and photography. Students will also study Te Reo M膩ori, Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and M膩ori Culture electives. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about contemporary M膩ori arts.
Entry requirements
Applicants must be enrolled in full-time study in the Bachelor of M膩ori Visual Arts. Include 4鈥10 images of artwork, a personal statement (around 300 words) about interest in contemporary M膩ori arts, a brief statement on future goals, a copy of High School results (NCEA Level 3 or equivalent), and a reference (optional but encouraged).
