About the scholarship
For a second-year student enrolled in an undergraduate degree with a focus on agriculture. This scholarship was established in memory of Charles William Robert Smith, who graduated from Massey Agricultural College in 1931 and spent his life farming near Whanganui. The scholarship aims to support students who demonstrate high achievement and a strong work ethic in the agriculture sector.
Entry requirements
Must be an enrolled Massey University student, studying in agriculture, demonstrate activity to support the agriculture industry, and not be the recipient of any other major scholarships in the same year.
