About the scholarship
The purpose of this scholarship is to acknowledge the contribution students make to their r炉unaka and local community. It is offered to four students (one from each of the four local R炉unaka), for study in a chosen programme at Otago Polytechnic. Full fees are paid for the duration of study.
How To Apply
- Please send your completed application to the Runaka that you affiliate to well before the closing date.
- Please send a copy of your application to Te Punaka Owheo.
- Each Runaka will meet after the closing date and will then notify Te Punaka Owheo at Otago Polytechnic who the successful candidate is.
- The Kaitautoko/ Kaiawhina (Tauira Maori) will then send out letters to all candidates informing them of the outcome by the end of April 2019 at the latest.

- You must meet the academic entry criteria for your chosen programme of study.
- You must be a domestic student.
- You must pass your academic studies each year with a minimum of 50%.
- Your study must be continuous.
- You must be enrolled in a full-time, full-year course.
