About the scholarship
These scholarships, established in 2007, are offered by the Maritime Union Scholarship Trust in order to support and encourage undergraduate study in areas of benefit to the people of ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ.

What you receive
$5,000 per annum
Entry requirements
Applicants must be currently enrolled at a ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ university and at the time of application should have completed at least one year of fulltime undergraduate study.
Applicants also must be either:
members of the Maritime Union of ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Inc., and/or of the ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Seafarers Union Inc., and/or of the ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Seamen’s Union Industrial Union of Workers, and/or of Waterfront Workers Union, and/or of the Waterside Workers Federation/Association, who are or were by occupation seafarers or wharfies/watersiders or
the children or grandchildren of any member, as above.
