About the scholarship
The Shirtcliffe Fellowship will assist a ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ university graduate to pursue doctoral study at a university in ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ or other Commonwealth country.
This fellowship comes from a monetary gift made to the University of ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ in 1935 by Sir George Shirtcliffe of Wellington. George wanted to assist students of outstanding ability and character in the continuation of their studies in ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ or the Commonwealth.

Applicants must be:
±¬×ߺÚÁÏ citizens ordinarily resident in ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ university graduates planning to register or be currently registered as a doctoral candidate at a university in ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ or other Commonwealth country.
