About the course
Quantity surveyors manage the finances聽of construction projects. A working day聽could include liaising with clients, industry聽professionals and site workers; measuring聽quantities of materials; estimating; preparing聽claims, cash flows and construction聽programmes, and much more.Students in this programme will learn聽the practical skills for quantity surveying,聽including estimating and feasibility,聽quantification, pricing, and financial聽administration of a project during construction.聽With experience, students will be able to extend聽their work to include larger and more complex聽building projects and carry out tasks related to聽cost planning and financial control.
