About the course
Working from a Christian worldview, graduates are equipped to work competently and confidently as beginning practitioners in a wide range of professional settings. Development of character, knowledge and skills is central. Family studies is a major theme.
About the provider
BTI is a not-for-profit organisation registered with the NZ Charities Commission.
Located in Tauranga in the Bay of Plenty, and accredited by NZQA with approval by Teaching Council of Aotearoa NZ and the Social Workers Registration Board, BTI is highly regarded by students, alumni, schools, early childhood centres, counselling and social work agencies for providing high quality biblically-based degrees and graduate diploma qualifications in teaching, counselling and social work.
BTI also offers postgraduate programmes in leadership, trauma-responsive therapy, trauma-informed leadership. Also available are micro-credential courses in responding to trauma with the option to stack them toward a postgraduate certificate.
