About the course
The Diploma in Creativity (Level 6) programme encourages you to be self-driven and is all about consolidating your creative practice.
The aim of the Level 6 programme is to increase your understanding of the creative process and develop a sustainable practice. You will continue to work from your core drivers and areas of interest, to develop transferable skills in creativity. These may be applied effectively to a wide range of industry roles and/or higher tertiary study.
Entry requirements
The qualification provides a pathway from the:
±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Certificate in Creativity (Level 5)
±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Diploma in Arts & Design (Level 5)
±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Diploma in Fashion (Level 5)
±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Diploma in Digital Media & Design (Level 5)
±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Diploma in NgaÌ„ Toi (Level 5)
Students who have not completed at the previous programme level can apply for entry using TLC’s Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process. (Note: acceptance via the RPL process is not automatic. Evidence presented must demonstrate sufficient ability at the required level).

At The Learning Connexion (TLC), we teach sustainable creativity through art making in a supportive and inclusive environment. Our style is to draw out, rather than to stuff things in.
By drawing from your life experiences, we encourage you to develop your creativity. We focus on learning by doing, so our NZQA approved programmes are hands-on and practical.
As a 32-year-old company employing over 50 staff and teaching approximately 400 students across ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ and around the world, TLC is ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ’s only education provider fully dedicated to teaching creativity processes. Our distance delivery system offers national and international students the same quality of provision as is received by those on-site.
