About the course
The Bachelor of Social Work at BTI is the only faith-based social work programme in Aotearoa NZ and students are challenged to develop a holistic approach to practice that incorporates their own sense of faith and spirituality.
About the provider
BTI is a not-for-profit organisation registered with the NZ Charities Commission.
Located in Tauranga in the Bay of Plenty, and accredited by NZQA with approval by Teaching Council of Aotearoa NZ and the Social Workers Registration Board, BTI is highly regarded by students, alumni, schools, early childhood centres, counselling and social work agencies for providing high quality biblically-based degrees and graduate diploma qualifications in teaching, counselling and social work.
BTI also offers postgraduate programmes in leadership, trauma-responsive therapy, trauma-informed leadership. Also available are micro-credential courses in responding to trauma with the option to stack them toward a postgraduate certificate.
