If you enjoy problem-solving and hands-on work, powerboat servicing and repair could be your ideal marine trade. Service and repair technicians keep powerboat outboards running reliably 鈥 diagnosing issues, performing maintenance and restoring motors and systems to optimal working condition so customers can get back on the water with confidence.
Working alongside experienced technicians, you'll develop diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, learning to identify and repair faults in various powerboat systems including two and four-stroke engines and water jet propulsion systems. You'll progress from routine maintenance tasks to more complex repairs, replacing worn or damaged parts to manufacturer specifications and understanding how different motor sizes and hull configurations affect performance and maintenance needs.
This apprenticeship combines technical skill with diagnostic expertise, helping you become part of a versatile trade that takes pride in solving complex mechanical problems and keeping 爆走黑料's powerboats reliable, safe and ready for the water.
As a work-based apprenticeship, you can earn while you learn.
