About the course

爆走黑料 Certificate in Power Boat Rigging (Level 4)

If you鈥檙e mechanically inclined, powerboat rigging is a great way to turn your passion for boats into a skilled career. Powerboat rigging specialists are responsible for making sure every vessel is properly set up, safe, and ready to perform on the water. You鈥檒l be involved in installing, sound and electronics, steering mechanisms, fuel delivery, and control systems 鈥 ensuring everything runs perfectly before the boat is handed over to the customer.

As an apprentice, you鈥檒l train alongside experienced power boat riggers and marine technicians, gaining experience in precision installation based on manufacturer specifications. You鈥檒l start with the fundamentals, learning how to fit and align components, then move on to more advanced systems 鈥 such as steering cables, helm controls and electronic equipment.

Over time, you鈥檒l develop the skills to commission completed vessel and systems 鈥 testing systems, diagnosing faults, and fine-tuning performance to ensure everything runs safely and efficiently. This skilled trade blends mechanical know-how with problem-solving and teamwork, perfect for those who enjoy seeing the results of their work out on the water.
