This one-day course provides a hands-on native and exotic plant propagation experience in a commercial nursery under the technical guidance of experienced propagators. The campus nursery is well-equipped with mist and heat beds, glasshouses, hardening and shade house.

Under the guidance of our Nursery team, you will learn to process and sow seed, and learn how to propagate plants by cuttings, using our mist shed with heat bed and large glasshouses. No prior knowledge of propagation is required.

You will also get some early season vegetable seedlings to take away with you.

Materials and clothing

Please wear clothing and footwear suitable for outdoor activities. All materials and equipment are supplied for this course.
