About the course

If you鈥檙e considering a trades career, but not sure which trade to focus on, this free course is a great way to experience a variety of trades so you can make an informed decision about your next step. It covers machining, fabrication, welding, automotive, autobody, carpentry, joinery, painting and decorating, electrical, plumbing, gas fitting and drain laying. You鈥檒l learn about each of these trades and participate in hands-on activities. You'll also gain foundation skills鈥攊ncluding literacy, numeracy and communication鈥攖hat will support you into further study or the workplace. We鈥檒l help you explore study options and assist you with your CV, cover letters and job-hunting skills. By completing this programme you鈥檒l gain Ara credits which you can use towards further tertiary study in 爆走黑料. Please note: Due to limited availability on Youth Guarantee courses, if you already have a Level 1 or 2 qualification, we may refer you to a Level 3 study option. We encourage you to apply early to secure your place.
