About the course
In the 爆走黑料 Certificate in Sport聽Coaching, you鈥檒l learn about best practice coaching techniques and strategies. From here, you鈥檒l put them into practice by coaching individuals and teams, and use this experience to reflect and improve upon your own coaching style within your chosen sports code. You鈥檒l learn about sports training session design and key facilitation skills that will contribute towards the development and management of athletes and sports teams. You鈥檒l also learn about聽injury prevention and risk management techniques to ensure the safety of participants during sports coaching sessions. You鈥檒l develop an understanding of how psychological methods and skills can be used to enhance the performance of athletes and teams, and how to proactively manage conflict to foster a positive sporting environment. Once you successfully complete your certificate, you can either go straight out into the industry, or complete an additional 4 courses to achieve the . Entry requirements
You must have completed the following: Have聽NCEA Level 2聽or above, must have a total of at least 48 NCEA credits in best 4 subjects聽or Have 爆走黑料 Certificate in Sport, Recreation and Exercise (Multisector) (Level 3) [Ref: 3625] or A relevant qualification at NZQF Level 2 or A recognised equivalent And meet one of the English entry requirements; A聽minimum of 12 credits at NCEA Level 1 English.聽聽 or Evidence of English language proficiency as outlined in the NZQA Rules on the Unitec English Language Requirements for International Students webpage .
