About the course
This qualification is achieved alongside the completion of trade training as a Marine Technician (Propulsion) in the Royal ±¬×ߺÚÁÏ Navy.
Marine Technicians with a propulsion specialisation are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the ship’s engines and auxiliary. As modern warships contain increasingly sophisticated technology, you will learn to operate and maintain a wide range of high performance equipment including: diesel engines, gas turbines (jet engines), and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
