About the course
Develop your understanding of tikanga protocols and cultural practices. Move to the next level of learning and confidence in tikanga - the lifeblood of te ao M膩ori (the M膩ori world).
Begin to specialise in tikanga specific to your area of interest in formal and informal settings. You'll learn deeper insights into the thinking behind tikanga and gain the technical ability to apply tikanga.
Upon successful completion of this programme, you will receive the following qualification:
- NZ Certificate in Tikanga (M膩tauranga M膩ori) Level 4
You'll learn about:
- deeper insights into the thinking behind tikanga
- a more technical ability to apply tikanga
- a developing knowledge of tikanga protocols and cultural practices.
Entry requirements
To enrol in this programme, a potential student must:
- be at least 16 years of age
- be a 爆走黑料 citizen (or citizen of Australia, Tokelau, Niue, Cook Islands) or permanent resident
- must attend an interview with a kaiako.
